Cells

Explanation for children:

Everything that lives consists of cells. They are our basic building blocks and form all our tissue types and organs. They can be compared to Lego bricks: Only when many bricks are assembled is it possible to build towers or airships. The cells consist of much smaller bricks. Depending on which building blocks you use to build a cell, you get either a eukaryote, bacteria or archaea.
