Did you know that …?
Slime moulds are so clever
that they find
their way out of a labyrinth.
Myxomycetes (slime moulds) looking for food is a good example for microbially effective stimuli (taxi). With Physarum polycephalum this could be featured as a live demonstration (on a bottom lit plate) and supported by a time-lapse movie.
